Phase 1
Connection and Access
Phase 2
Planting and amphitheatre
Phase 3
Natural Play
A sensory trail is appropriate for everyone to enjoy and is designed to stimulate our senses through touch, scent, sight, taste and hearing. This will be done mainly through various planting schemes but will include some construction work if approved.
The public consultation on the possible development of a sensory trail around the perimeter
of the Bishops Hull Playing Field commences on Saturday 12th November. The plans will also be available here and on notice boards around the village for the month of November. We are looking for feedback as soon as possible, but no later than Wednesday 30th November, to gauge the level of interest in the project from the community.
Online Form for Feedback
We will be seeking grant funding for the main construction elements of the scheme, however, there is a great opportunity for the Community to become involved in the planting of the sensory trail as follows.
– By donating plants as part of the planting scheme
– Volunteering to help with the sensory planting
– Volunteering to help with the maintenance/gardening
– By assisting with the fund raising
